Hors D’oeuvres
A good rule is to estimate between 6-8 pieces of each guest per hour of reception, reducing the pieces to 2-3 per guest for each subsequent hour of reception. If there is not a dinner to follow the reception, estimate 10+ pieces per guest. When planning your cocktail party, an excellent guide for how much to order is:
Mid Afternoon: 8-10 pieces per person
Before Dinner: 12-16 pieces per person
Evening: 8-10 pieces per person
Late evening: 10-12 pieces per person
When prices are quoted for hors d’oeuvres that price includes all paper products. China may be added to your event for an additional fee.
