Working alone or with a partner, you should produce a brief original video illustrating how psychology affects your life, school, community, family, or your health. Use your ideas, technical experience and equipment to complete this video. Use the technical guidelines below to develop your video, which must be YouTube uploadable. Each video entry is judged in four areas. See the judging rubric below.
1. Be currently enrolled as a full time student in high school.
2. One student or team of two students may submit a video product.

Upload your finished video to your personal or school YouTube account. Include a link to the video when you fill out the submission form at the CSC Psychology website.

2. MOV (commonly from iMovie)
3. AVI (from Windows Movie Maker)
4. WMV (from Windows Live Movie Maker)

Professional standards for bias, truthfulness, and other ethical consideration can not be compromised. Adhere to the ethical guidelines provided by the American Psychological Associations. Review APA’s general ethical principles (apa.org/ethics/code/index.aspx?item=3).

1. Submit standard definition: 720x480 (Acceptable)
2. Or high definition: 1280x720 or 1920x1080 (Preferred)
3. Record, edit and present the video in a 16:9 (widescreen) format.
