Research Interests and Published Works

Gabriel Scala has published two collections of poetry, Leaping from the Bottom Step (1997) and Twenty Questions for Robbie Dunkle (2004). Her critical biography of Willa Cather, Terribly Loud: Willa Cather's Response to Trauma, is an original and revisionist exploration of Cather's writing - part of which was published as an essay in Violence, The Arts and Willa Cather (2007).
