Scott Abels (B.A. Literature, 2001) successfully completed his M.F.A. in Creative Writing at Boise State University. Scott’s poem “Three Poems from Locus: A Choose Your Own Adventure Series” was published in issue 31 of Shampoo poetry journal and “from Oh, Nowhere” has recently appeared in the Idaho special issue of ActionYes Online Quarterly.

Cassie Bohn-Germain (B. A. Literature, 2004) has completed her M.A. in English at the University of Vermont. She is currently employed as a cataloger and coordinator of adult programs at the Essex Free Library in Essex, VT. She has written two children’s books, both of which are under consideration by a publisher.
Brenda Lanphear (B.S. English Education, 2008) is now on the English faculty of Chadron High School.
Rex Morrison (B.S.E. English, 2007) is now an Instructor of English at Mitchell Jr./Sr. High School in Mitchell, NE.
Melissa Pohl (B.S.E. English, 2007) is now an Instructor of English at Ogallala High School in Ogallala, NE.
Kristin Rees (B.S.E. English, 2006) is starting her third year of teaching English at Crawford High School. She was recently honored by being chosen as one of a handful of teachers to participate in the Upward Bound summer 2008 program. Daniel Schweitzer (B.A. Literature, 2008) finished his M.A. in English at the University of South Dakota in spring 2011 and is starting his Ph.D. studies in Literature at SUNY Buffalo in the fall.
Nathaniel Watkins (B.S. English Education, 2008) will be starting his new position as an eighth-grade language arts teacher in Alliance, NE in the fall of 2009.
Mick Wright (B.A. Literature, 2003) is working as a web specialist at Cabela’s corporate headquarters.
