Dave Copelan — Figi

Dave Copelan in FigiThe experience of studying in Fiji was truly unbelievable. The entire experience as a whole is one of the best I have ever had. The greatest part about it, other than being on a South Pacific Island, is that I have made new lifetime friends, and become entirely sold on and partial to a simpler, more peaceful culture. I hope in the future to have many more opportunities to travel and experience what the world has to offer, and I am glad this Study Abroad experience has jumpstarted the process!

Desiree — Costa Rica

Desiree Young in Costa RicaYo estudié en Costa Rica por tres meses!

I studied in Costa Rica for 3 months and it was one of the most amazing experiences thus far in my life! Before I left Costa Rica I didn’t know any Spanish, but when I returned to the United States I had advanced to a Basic 2 Spanish level. I lived in San José with a host family and a fellow study abroad student from Tennessee that I became best friends with and still talk to on a daily basis. I took Spanish classes and elective classes at Universidad Veritas, all my credits transferred and helped satisfy some of CSC’s degree requirements.

While studying in Costa Rica I was able to travel to Nicaragua and Panama and experienced many amazing things. One of my best memories was seeing a dolphin and swimming with a school of fish while staying at the Aqua Lounge hostel in Panama.

My stay in Costa Rica was an adventure every step of the way and I would go back in a heartbeat!

PURA VIDA mi amigos!!!

Audrey Roberts — Australia

Audrey Roberts wildlife tourChoosing to study abroad was one of the best decisions that I have ever made. I studied for a semester at Central Queensland University in Rockhampton, Australia. I had the opportunity to make life long friends, travel, and challenge my views of the world. Being in a new country challenged me to try new things and helped me to become a more confident person. I know that I am more open to change and willing to make things happen than I was before. The most important advice I can offer a prospective student is that you have to go with an open mind and a willingness to try new things.
