Scholarships and Tuition Waivers

Non-resident Scholars Scholarship Program

International graduate students meeting established academic standards for the Non-resident Scholars Program (NRS) are charged “Nebraska resident” tuition (50% of the standard international student tuition.). This program is available to all new graduate international applicants who enroll in campus-based courses and who have submitted documentation supporting at least one of the below criteria.

  • Graduate students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 for all previous work attempted at all colleges attended prior to their enrollment at Chadron State College.
  • Students will continue to receive the scholarship as long as they maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher.

Once Chadron State College receives an applicant’s admission application, supporting documentation, and official transcripts, college personnel will review the materials to determine applicant’s eligibility for the scholarship. Applicant’s do not need to apply for the Non-resident Scholars Program. Qualified applicants will be awarded the scholarship automatically and informed by mail and/or email.

Students who do not meet the above criteria as a new applicant will be awarded the scholarship automatically if they achieve a minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA while at CSC.
