The Quality Matters course review process is based on the Quality Matters rubric, a set of standards for design of online courses. You can get more information about the Quality Matters rubric and the course review process from Mary Jo Carnot at mcarnot@csc.edu

In Spring 2014, Nathanial Gallegos has had the first Quality Matters certified class at Chadron State College. The class MGMT 639 - 79 LEGAL AND SOCIAL ENVIRONMENT OF BUSINESS was certified February 2014.

Association for Integrative Studies (AIS) http://www.units.muohio.edu/aisorg/

"Founded in 1979, the Association for Integrative Studies is the professional association devoted to interdisciplinarity. Interdisciplinarity combines the insights of knowledge domains to produce a more comprehensive understanding of complex problems, issues, or questions ranging from comparison to fully realized integration."  The organization will change its name to the Association for Interdisciplinary Studies, effective January 1, 2013.

Association for General and Liberal Studies (AGLS) http://www.agls.org/

"AGLS serves colleges and universities by fostering strong General Education programs. General Education is that part of the curriculum required of all students and dedicated specifically to liberal learning - the development of knowledge, skills, values, and habits of mind characteristic of an educated person.
