What is an online course?

Online courses are courses in which all instruction, assignments, projects, papers, quizzes and exams are completed through a virtual classroom (your personal computer!). You will actively engage in learning by communicating online to the instructor and other students.

What is the advantage of online learning?

Flexibility. Online courses can be completed anytime and anywhere you have access to a computer and internet connection. CSC online courses are delivered asynchronously, which means you do not have to be online at the same time as the instructor or other students. Online classes allow you the opportunity to learn according to your own schedule, night or day. That's right, no more taking time from your busy schedule to go to a campus and sit in a traditional classroom. Complete your course from work, at home and anywhere in between!
